Postcard Swap
I have just begun to delve into the world of pen pals and postcard swaps after many years being away. It has been a blast corresponding via Postcrossing. I have read about swaps and was interested in participating, but am more than a little intimidated after seeing the wonderful works of art that others produce. I do not have any talent for drawing or painting. So I was happy to run across iHanna's Autumn Swap which was limited to 5 cards. One of my goals in completing this swap was to use what I had on hand. The cardboard is from boxes. I used acrylic craft paint, stickers, washi tape and decoupaged paper. I hope they make it through the mail okay and brighten up someone's day!my postcards |
They look lovely, Randi! No doubt the recipients will be thrilled to receive them.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cynthia. I hope so!
ReplyDeleteYour postcards looks great, I'm so glad you joined us! I love recycling and finding materials that you can use in new ways so this post makes me happy. That's often what I do too.

ReplyDeleteI love the way you worked with typography.
I enjoy working with words--I think that may be my style. This has been so much fun to explore. There are so many options!
